Should I Get A Second Opinion?

If you contact a lawyer and he or she rejects your case, the answer is “absolutely yes.” Not all lawyers will see a case the same way. Not all lawyers have the same level of experience. If a lawyer turns down your case, that doesn’t necessarily mean you don’t have a good cause of action. Some lawyers may not be familiar with the type of case you are presenting. So be your own best advocate, contact a few lawyers if the first lawyer you speak with rejects your case. After being turned down by a number of lawyers and those lawyers have explained why you do not have a case worth pursuing, it may be time to stop searching.
